1.1 WHERE CAN I FIND THE LATEST VERSION OF THE JOURNEY FAQ?

1.2 WHERE ARE THE MAJOR JOURNEY RESOURCES ON THE INTERNET?

The Journey Tribute Home Page "http://www.journey-tribute.com" contains recent news, information on the members, sound bytes, pictures, lyrics, plus an extensive list of links to other Journey resources and information on the Internet.

There is also a web page, maintained by Jasparina Mahyat, dedicated to Journey fans appropriately titled: Journey Fans Network "http://www.journeyfansnetwork.com". The Journey Fans Network contains a huge database on fans from all over the world with everyone's e-mail address, city, birth date, and a list of their other favorite music bands.

Sony Music maintains the official Journey web page at "http://www.journeycontinues.com". It includes sound clips for every song.

Finally, there are several places for Journey discussions which include the Journey Mailing List, the Usenet Newsgroup alt.music.journey, message boards, and on-line chats via America Online and Internet Relay and Chat (IRC).


1.3 JOURNEY MAILING LIST

The Journey Mailing list is the central resource for Journey fans to discuss the latest news of their favorite rock band. In the Mailing List we chat about all aspects of the band, from Steve Perry's hair to everyone's favorite song. At times there are also discussions about the post-Journey groups Bad English, The Storm, Hardline and Abraxas Pool.

1.6 ALT.MUSIC.JOURNEY

The Usenet Newsgroup alt.music.journey is another great location for Journey information and discussions.

If your Internet Provider does not presently carry alt.music.journey, ask your provider to add it to their list so you can subscribe.


1.7 ON-LINE CHATS

A special day and time have been established for Journey fans to chat on-line at two locations.

For America Online members only, it's Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m. Eastern. Go to the private room called "Deep Groove".

For Internet users who have access to Internet Relay Chat (IRC), there are two days to chat: Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. and Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Eastern. The channel name is "#DeepGroove" and is best accessible through "irc.hughes.net" (port 6667).


1.8 ON-LINE MESSAGE BOARDS

Message boards are similar to mailing lists, except they are accessed via the World Wide Web. Some popular message boards are Journey's Speakers Corner and the Steve Smith Message Board at http://www.journey-tribute.com, and Skylord's Journey Board http://www.emeraldlink.com/~skylord/wwwboard.
